As you read this, please note that I am approaching this from a place of neutrality. This is not a political post or a soapbox post. This is simply a note to speak with my community, to clients - current, future and past, to event workers, barn staff, and beyond.
I have always been of the mind that the equestrian community is for everyone - no matter your race, gender, ethnicity, body type, financial background, abilities, etc. I continue this belief in how I run my business that no matter who you are or where you come from, as long as you are a good person who treats others with respect, kindness and empathy, HM Photography is happy to work with you. While I may not always see eye-to-eye with clients when it comes to religion or politics, I have always been able to align on kindness.
As I continue to build my business and reach out to new communities I want to emphasize my continued commitment to uplifting ALL voices in the equine community.
At horse shows and photoshoots, I will continue to cheer on and rally behind every rider, horse and model. I will continue to foster an environment of acceptance and celebration.
